Where's the Log file

My document has the "Generate Logfile" checked in the Document's settings and a logfile is being generated when I run it in my box but a logfile is not generated in the server.

Does anyone know why?

Do you mean log for the task (Reloading of application from server).

If yes then you may find them at below location on your computer.

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService

Hi,

The log file is located in the folder where the .qvw file is.In order to generate the log file, 'Generate Logfile' must be checked in the 'General' tab of 'Document Properties' in 'Settings' menu.

Hi Josh,

When you are using qlikview in local machine, the log file will be generated at the same folder where you have the application.

When you are using the QlikView server for the same then, you will find it in below folder.

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Distribution Service
