Hi,

Can some one please let me know what controls the access to Access Point Site?

I don't want to give users access to the Qlikview Client Edition.

Hi John,

If client need to access Access Point you need to assign their names into to specified CAL's in server throw NTFS / AD (Active Directory)authentication

i mean

Named Cal's
Session Cal's
Document Cal's
User Cal's

According to this Cal's only user will check your Dashboard or Reports in Web view by Laptop/Smart Phones/Pad's ..etc.

Hi Rama Sai,

An user is able to access Empty Access Point even though the user is not assigned any CAL. The user is not able to view any dashboards because this user is not added to any access point distribution task.

If I look at the Authentication tab of the Qlikview Web Servers, Authentication is defined as Always, Type as NTLM and Login Address as Default Login Page.

How can I restrict the user even to enter in to Empty Access Point?
