Hello

while i connect with ODBC connection it shows successful after successful

when i click on select button it doesn't show the Database Tables(list of tables).

Hi,

What data source you are using? like SQL Server, Oracle, etc.

Can you show your ODBC connection string?

Hi,

If you observer the screen shot you can find

second option Database:c:\Program Files\Qlikview shows this is wrong.

once your ODBC/OLDB is succeeded then you need to select Force 32 option check box in script.

click on the Select button in your script.Now you can choose your data base and type of your Owner ship(Admin,Users..etc)

and choose your Data source

Now you can view the tables list in that Database so that you can select the table from the list

while i try to connect without select force 32 it shows an error and connection get unsuccessful.

for which database you are trying to connect?

Sql,Sql server,Teradata...etc

had you create the Connection for that ODBC/OLEDB before doing this?

Control panel-->Administrative tools-->Data sources ODBC-->2nd tab System DSN-->Add the server details.

verify the connection successful or not?

once you had succeeded here then come to Qlikview and check

That means you need to consult your Database Admin.

for accessing the database.

Do you have Database in your machine?

are you working in your personal machine or searching in Organisation?

if it is in your personal machine first you need to install Database software in your machine then you can check this ODBC creation

else

if you are working in organisation ,For sql & Sql server you need to install client version of the database software and ask the credentials to retrieve Data from database.
