Users are limited access to document by setting the security properties on the document level

However, setting Admin override security users will be able to bypass these by entering Admin password

It's a quite self descriptive option: if you are an admin in the section access table or using QlikView Desktop, your user will be able to change whatever properties in document and objects regardless how the security settings are set up for that particular object.

For example, you can uncheck in the sheet properties that users are allowed to resize, copy or even see the sheet properties. But if your user is ADMIN and that check is enabled, then you will be able to resize, copy and see the sheet properties anyways.

Hi Nihhal,

You can be one of two roles when you log in to a QlikView document - User or Admin. When you edit the security tab, you are editing for all users, but if you want an Admin user to be able to override these settings, then you tick that box. To give a user the Admin or User role, you will need to be using Section Access which is quite a big topic: Introduction to Section Access
