There is a document (Qlikview File) for macros, but to understand that too you need to know the VBScript or Java Script.

You will find that document on your computer at

C:\Program Files\Qlikview\Documentation\API

I would first ask why use macros in QlikView.

In most cases there is no need for macros and the functionality can be achieved using standard functions and actions.
