How to do Rolling Quarter for latest 12 months with Two Dimensions

Hi All

I need to calculate the rolling quarter incremental share values against YearMonth & Brand

Dimensions:

1. YearMonth

2. Brands

Note: Need show to latest 12 months

Expressions:

Formula:

(Current Year RQTR Sale / Current Year RQTR Total Sale)

(Previous Year RQTR Sale / Previous Year RQTR Total Sale)

CY : Latest 12 months i.e.,(Aug-15 to Jul-16)

PY : Previous latest 12 months i.e.,(Aug-14 to Jul-15)

where as

Jul- 16 = sum of sale value of May-16,Jun-16,Jul-16 against the brands

Jun-16 = sum of sale value of Apr-16,May-16,Jun-16 against the brands

like that for remaining months so on....

I got the values for current year rolling quarter values

but i was struck in getting the previous year rolling quarter values

Don't you just want to do the same as yoru current RQTR calendar but change your add months to -12 ?

I might not be getting exactly what you're trying to do here

i already tired it but there is an issue with plotting the values

when i did subtract current year RQTR with previous year RQTR

the values are not plotted exactly in latest 12 months instead of that it is plotted latest 24 months

which is not my requirement
