Variable to select multiple values

Hi all,

i can't seem to get a variable to work..

what i need is to create a variable to be used for a button that will select the current period plus the next 12.

i have a variable set up that will select the period 12 greater than the current period but i need it to select >=Current period and <= current period +12.

i am using a counter field against the period.

can anyone help?

i have attached an example.

i have just managed to get something working.

i created 2 separate variables..

vCurrentPeriod - which just hold the current period

vPeriod_12 - which holds the same period in 12 months

then used this in the button.

='>='&vCurrentPeriod&'<='&vPeriod_12
