Hi Community,

Can any one know about Kronos system? and what is the backend database it uses? If so can we connect and extract the data using QlikView/QlikSense?

Please share your knowledge if you have any idea.

Hello Suman,

Fast check in google suggests that it is using MS SQL Server, which means you should be able to connect ot this DB easily using ODBC / OLE DB

Hi Suman,

Kronos runs off of either SQL or Oracle databases (depending on the client), but SQL is more common. While it is a standard database infrastructure, the application uses more than 2,000 tables with limited documentation or naming conventions. My firm has built a connector to accommodate the ETL process out of Kronos and into QlikView/Sense, feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
