Hello,

I have heard it from 1 of the qlikview experts that creating dashboard is not an issue, but data should be proper. Spend 80% of your time in data cleansing and manipulation and 20% time in Creating it.

Where should we start learning about it?

You can perform ETL and some cleansing with the Qlik script, although it is not Qlik's core functionality. Details here: http://help.qlik.com/sense/en-us/online/#../Subsystems/Hub/Content/LoadData/UseDataLoadEditor.htm
It is customizable, check the APIs available at http://help.qlik.com/sense/en-us/developer/

Prashant,

As we are aware of that for each and every qlikview file Data model(DM) is the important and Hart of that application.

so creating this DM is a headache process while we are doing Joins and Concatenation ,circular loops, synthetic keys removal after some calculations & apply map concepts

may be there is some chances data will be mismatch or the count of distinct are increase /decrease.

after overcome this we need to check in Table viewer & data match for random records if we confirm our self all the data in the DM Design (80 % work approximately)are perfect then we need to go to Design (20 % work approximately)

Data cleansing, data cleaning, or data scrubbing is the process of detecting and correcting (or removing) corrupt or inaccurate records from a record set, table, or database and refers to identifying incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate or irrelevant parts of the data and then replacing, modifying, or deleting the unnecessary records.
