At a very high level, QlikView can be thought of a "guided" BI and Qlik Sense can be thought of as "self-discovery" BI.

Simply Qlikview is for Guided Analytics and qliksense is a Self service analytics.

QlikSense is different than QlikView and there will be scenarios where QlikView is best and otherwise QlikSense will be best.

Commonly we can say

Qlikview is a Developer tool where as Qliksence is a User tool.
