Hi Expert

I have a situation, for some reason suddenly i can not acces to the qmc, and i see the services (ALL OF THEM) and all are running, but if i not restart the qvserver service, i can not acces to the qmc.

Until not restart the service, it is impossible to acces to the qmc, but the services say that is running, not down

what could be?

Is the QVS maxing out your CPU / RAM or something crazy?

If you say you could see all of them you mean within the taskmanager? If yes - a running process in the taskmanager doesn't meant that the process is working else the OS respectively the taskmanager don't know that there is any problem.

More suitable to check if the services are avlive will be the "QlikView Server Super Agent" in Power Tools 1.2 for QlikView and I think the discussion here will be helpful for you: check if qlikview server services are alive and able to response.
