Connection issue

Hi,

I need to connect Clear Quest database which is hosted in Oracle database through Qlikview tool, so that I need to create one connection string(DSN) with ODBC drivers .While I am trying to create that connection the below error is getting. Please find the attachment and help me on this issue on priority and let me know how to connect the Clear Quest database.

Do you have set correct user name and password?

Have you checked e.g. with SQL Developer that you can connect to the database?

Which credential should i use for that ,Oracle or Clear Quest ?? because i have only clear quest database username and password and I am using Oracle drivers in ODBC to create DSN.

I believe you need to input the username and password of your DBMS / Oracle.

Not sure how this information is connected to your ClearQuest login, I guess ClearQuest uses a different user to login to the data base.

But these questions are not related to QlikView, so you are probably better off asking in a ClearQuest support or user forum.

Contact Database Developer for the right Credentials. You will get the similar error for wrong Credentials and Software error also.
