Alter task log files path

Hi Experts,

I have an requirement where i have to change the task log files path from default location of %PROGRAMDATA%\QlikTech\DistributionService to somewhere in D drive.

Post from Barry can help in here, but if I go with symlink option would like to know how to change the new location back to default one (not mentioned in the post), as change in default log file path is out of support from Qlik

Earlier post is showing changing as well. Have you found that base location.

You want to move ProgramData folder or what?

The default (Base) location is : %PROGRAMDATA%\QlikTech\DistributionService and If i move this to D Drive then what will be the process to move it back to the Default (Base location)

That is so, i am asking you you want to change whole folders from PROGRAMDATA (C:) folder to D Folder.

If so, you may try from CMD Prompt

thanks for your reply Anil, but i don't want to move the complete ProgramData folder to other drive.
