App File Size

Hi All,

I have an App of 600 MB.

But if I try to load only 1 % of rows in script and save, it still is 600 MB.

WHY this happens and how I can compact it ?

You might try opening the app without data. Then save. That should reduce the file size. Then reload with limited data set.

Hi,

Try saving the app before reloading with new data. Once reloaded, save the app and you should see a decrease in the app size

May be the file is reading data from any qlikview file (Binary Load) due to this it may not reduced even on the limited loads. Try to remove UN-wanted fields and tables from the load will improve your performance.
