Help needed in Loading Multi header Rows

Dears,

I'm trying to load a table from Excel which i have with 2 header rows. I can't change the source file when we get it each time, so I'm trying to figure a way with the 2 header rows which both have necessary information.

I've included a sample xls of the form of my source data.

The data which you've provided has Date-Month-Day in same column + numeric's. Instead add Dates-month-day as a row

You can get the dates by creating a calendar and mapping it to the fact, I find there is no use to include those hence it is hard to make not just pivot table but any table.

If you can edit your data by removing unnecessary field names? PFA (Sheet 2 in your XL file) for the sample data I've edited. Defining rows will be more easier.

If you can do it or if the DB team can do it for you?

If this is not coming directly from source and if this is just a flat file then you can define it properly instead of worrying or you can try the example provided above by Marco.

Did you try with Gysbert's example?

Can you share your current application so we can help with the particular bit you're struggling with?
