Keep Date Locked

The below attached is a picture and explanation of my problem. I'm trying the keep the Date locked even when the Clear button is pressed. Both fields are locked so I'm not sure what else to try. Any and all help would be most welcomed.

can you post the sample qvw?

i guess when you hit the clear button, for some reason 'min date' and 'max date' are getting wiped out.

I can have alook into your problem once you post the sample qvw depicting your probelm.

Are you not using a variable like startdate or mindate or something like that.

I would create a variable vStartDate.

Use that variable in you calender object like:

Maybe you've set up a custom clear state that has the one field locked and the other not. A regular clear doesn't override locked fields, but the custom clear state can. If you go under the clear drop down menu and reset the clear state, maybe then it would stay locked?
