Load error

Can anyone tell me why this file occasionally fails to update please.

It reloads every 2 hours and approx 1 in 4 fail.

I cannot see anywhere in the error log that it actually tells me the issue.

The output qvw is accessed by another 10 qvw's on a 15 minute interval.

You're assigning triggers in QMC for your source file to load?

Hi, yes there is a QMC trigger to run a QVD for a reload every 2 hours.

Is that what you meant ?

Are there any Pre Tasks /Triggers. Probably the Refresh is having too frequently before the Pre Tasks are over.

Also check your memory utilization. Maybe the memory is creating problem.

Do you have the application log? There could me some clues there, maybe the qvw is trying to save the file while one or more qvw's are reading the QVD.

HI PM,

1 way is if the job is failed in QMC run the same qvw by manually in Qlikview personal edition.so that you also know which source files are causing for failure.

2nd Way, if this is the first time job failed may be Comfortable RAM is not available at that moment so check the RAM.

Note:-As per Experts view we need to restart Qlikview services for every month at least once depends on your down time.

Hi all

If I manually run this file it never fails.

I have doubled the available memory and it is still failing.
