Error Reloading on Server

Hi all,

I've a problem when the server reloads all my documents:

"Error: Document open call failed. The document might require username and password."

I don't have Section Acces, and the documents are not corrupted.

If i reboot the server the documents start working again, but only for few hours, then the server starts with the same error another time.

PS: In services list, i have the qlikview admin log in.

Next time it happens then restart the qlik services rather than the server.

That at least might point you towards a qlik or environmental error.

Also have you been through all the Qlik and server logs and events?

I've tried with both, services and server.

For the logs, i have the document log and in server i have this one activated: ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService. Is there any more?

Hi Ivan,

do you run several task at the same time, or very Close to each other? or do you run task With the same datasource, ex same qvd? When did the documents fails, is in in the beginning of the script or in the save part?

Hi Staffan,

The documents fail before open it, not on load, when the server tries to open, it retrieves this error message "Error: Document open call failed. The document might require username and password."

And the authorization is correct on the folder path? That the account the runs services has full authorization.

I think no, also, the documents reloads for a while, then, it stop working, and if i try to reload with this,

it fails, but if i reload opening the document with my QlikView desktop client it works perfectly.

Only works in server for a while when i restart the Qlik Services or Server.

Can you send the document logfile from when it stops.

Tick "Generate Logfiles" in documet Properties in Your app.

It's in the client and the logs are disabled...

The logfile from script will be useful, you can manage this here. The file will be placed in the same folder as qvw document.

"Current usage count=0 of 100 (of type non-reader)." This info in Your qds- logfile makes me Wonder if you have set 100 for simultaneous jobs? This is a setting in QMC and should not be over 11.
