Auto-export (and mail) report (PDF)

Hello QV-Gods,

I know, a lot of info can be found here on the forum, but I can't seem to find the right way to do it [:$]

What needs to be done ?

I have 1 report that has to be send every evening (Day-report)
I have 1 report that has to be send every friday-evening (Week-report)
I have 7 reports that has to be send every last day of the month (Month-report)

What have I done yet ?

I tested the Email.qvw here on the forum, that works ! But before it works, I first need to export the report (I use CutePDF).
A lot is duscussed on the forum but there's to much information to get a workable example [:#]

Could somebody please shine a light on it ?

Thing I thought about

Opening the QVW with parameters (qv.exe /...),
Copying the QVW and use a seperate QVWfile, with its own triggers, for each report,
...

PS : Small note for the forum-moderator : wouldn't it be better to use 'br' instead of 'p' as standard when posting a message ?

Jochen,

I have done that exact thing for a client. Problem is that it was done in macros in version 8.2 I believe. I created a QVW that would open another qlikview document and produce a PDF based upon a certain Report and the macro would make certain selections before producing the PDF. It would then send that PDF via email.

I wouldn't have a problem sharing the code with you, you just have to understand that you will need to modify for use in current version. Also, be aware that because it is being done via a macro that code may not work in future releases.
