Data Showing Up With a - Filter Problem

Hello:

I have a straight table with various fields, but a key field of CHARGE_MONTH. When I do a filter using a Multi-List box for a particular CHARGE_MONTH, I get results for that CHARGE_MONTH but also rows for CHARGE_MONTH values of "-" (without the quotes). The multi-list box has an aggregate of =aggr(if(Not WildMatch(CHARGE_MONTH, '2015*'), CHARGE_MONTH), CHARGE_MONTH) because I do not want to show / display / sum values for 2015.

The format of CHARGE_MONTH is YYYYMM. I only wish to show overall without any filters 2016MM values and then when I filter for a specific month, I only want / need to see values for that particular month. For example, if I filter for 201609, I only want to see rows for 201609 and not anything else like "-" rows (again, without the quotes).

Every single row of my data has a valid CHARGE_MONTH value in the form of YYYYMM.

On your dimensions tab, did you check 'Suppress When Value Is Null' option?

Ah ha! I did not have that checked. I checked it and that took care of the problem. I've learned something else. Thank you for your assistance. I'm slowly but surely becoming more knowledgeable. Thanks again.
