Good afternoon, i have a question that hopefully someone can help me.

Can i generate a hidden script from a qvd file? and if is possible how do i do it?

Do you mean to hide the Tab with the script from qvd?

If so yes you can.

Just add tables from the qvd you want to load the data.

Hi Gabriel,

For Creating Password protected Hidden script.

Go to Edit Script (Ctrl+E)-->FILE Menu-->Create Hidden Script.

you can give your own password also.

2) may be you are asking while some one trying to fetch data from your .qvd it needs to ask password?

If i miss understand your question please correct me.

Dear Gabriel,

There is no difference between Hidden Script and Normal Script both are same for loading data from any data source (QVD, TXT, CSV, MDB, XML).

Hidden Script or Password Protected Script (Tab) both are same, Hidden Script is not visible to everyone until or unless you will not Edit Hidden Script credentials.

Hidden Script helps to hide portion of the script or all of the script from users and it is mostly used for to hide the Section Access portion.
