Adding Visual Clue to Straight Table

Hi,

I'm having trouble adding a visual clue to a straight table. I have gone into the expression that I want to change then background and then in the definition expression I have the below expression. It shows a variable being colored red against the sum of a dimension. Any idea why no visual clue is appearing?

($(eAllStudents)<= sum([Target Class Students]),Color(3), // Red

First of all, the formula shown is not complete and will fail to parse.

Second, it is impossible to tell what the formula is supposed to color without knowing the contents of your variable.

Third (and hopefully this part answers your question despite the missing information), assuming you are using the Visual Cues tab, these are calculated once for the entire table, not for each individual row. If you're looking for row-level highlights, you need to use the dimension / expression properties (background color or text color, as appropriate) - click the expand sign next to the appropriate dimension/expression to open these properties.
