Data model non related tables

Hi,

We have 2 tables which contains

Table1:

Product _name

Category_name.

Table2:

Product_num

Category_num

Actually its an sample one but in real we have more fields and there is no any any common field between the tables i know it doesn't make sense but i want know the all approaches to get my requirement.

Surely there must be a relationship between the Product Number and Product Name?

It may not be in the data you have, but it must exist somewhere!

IF you don't have a common key then Link the tables will be like a blind game i.e. you need to assume the link like create a key based on the load order and link the tables but it won't help you to get the correct results .

Try to get a common key
