Not possible to use HTML in e-mail alerts?

Hi All,

I can't get HTML code to work in e-mail alerts. Is this a configuration option somewhere, or are we really not allowed to do this? It's basically impossible to format a proper alert in only plaintext. If I, say, write <b>Hello</b>, I see it just as typed in the mail instead of Hello being bold.

Bumping this to see if anyone knows if this is possible. This concerns application alert e-mails, not the server alerts that do allow you to choose html as the format.

Bumping this one again.

We are a further 2 years down the line and I still cannot do this, and I'm using V11.2.

This seems like something approaching insanity.....

Has anybody got anywhere at all with this
