Create table in Qlikview using data from an Oracle database.

Hi All, I hope somebody can help me?

I have access to an Oracle SQL database with lots of tables inside.

I need to use Qlickview to make a table with the data that is selected from the Oracle database. In Oracle I would type the following command select * from uk_pay_dev.pay_basic_info_raw where sex = 'M' I am led to believe I can use this command in Qlikview to produce the same table?

When explaining the answer, please bear in mind that I have a very limited knowledge of both Oracle and Qlikview.

First you need to create a connection string that would need to connect to the Oracle database.

Then you need to simply fetch this table and write the where clause. Store it in a qvd
