I am trying to get my head around the essentials to be a successful developer for e.g. certification etc.?

Please please can seasoned developers quantify/throw some light on minimum must-have skills and experience e.g. ETL, Data modelling, SQL etc.1-3 years of development experience from an employers perspective?

Thanks in advance

Nish

Not sure who "they" are, but that sounds like complete overkill. 3 till 6 months of experience is more then enough to be able to get Qlik certified. Doing the training could reduce this time even.

Note that these are averages. We have had people with 3+ year experience and still failing, though this usually is due to either not speaking the certification languages (there are 8 available) as a first language or never learned the actual way of how you should work with Qlik software.

We expect our partner organizations to have at least X people (X depends on the size of the organization / level of partnership) to be certified as that is a way we can guarantee quality to our customers.

To work for a partner, call a partner and apply for a job. If you get hired, you work for a partner.

We have 1000+ partners in 100+ countries. If you want to find out about partners in your area, contact your local Qlik office or check their website.
