Qlikview PDF distribution using Publisher

Hello all,

I am trying to send pdf files using pdf distribution of Qlikview publisher.

I would like to send it to my AD users which I have already set up in my QMC. Just for testing purpose I selected one user (myself) from the list to send email. But I am not getting any emails.

Would you please help if I am doing anything wrong.

Thanks for your response. I tried the same approach. But nothing is happening. Even I am not able to find the log file for this.

Hello,

I'm not sure what your SMTP server configuration is. Are you sure it is OK?

Here is some tutorial if you need to setup SMTP server for testing purposes.

QlikTip #38: How to install a local and lightweight SMTP/POP3 service on Windows 7

By Default publisher log is in this folder:

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\1\Log

Check there for additional clues.

Hi Jakub,

My mail server is all set up and using test email I also received an email. There is no response from the task I created for distribution of pdf report.

It always stay in waiting state. I am not sure what is missing at this point.
