Hi,

Can a macro be run on change of Cyclic group? Or is it possible to invoke an action or trigger by click on a cycle group?

hi i don't think QV monitors the "group switching event".

you can use a variable to hold the value of the current selected group and use the "ON Change event" of the variable to run the macro

But On Change of the Variable doesn't work for me in version 9.0 SR 5.

I am using the variable vCurrentCycle as

=GetCurrentField(TimeCycle) .

On change of that variable it doesn't perform any action based on triggers.

I've struggled with this one before. I've never been able to trigger an "OnChange" for a variable when the change is the result of an expression calculation.
