Hello,

Can you please check the Images

3rd Image is My Folder - There is no File (Empty Folder)

2nd Image is qvs (Mount Point)

1st Image is User Documents

Expecting : I don't want to show that file, Because in my folder there is no file

- Help Need

The displayed file will disappear if you delete all tasks related to this file from QMC.

Rob, Thanks. No i just checked. But when i am trying to see on Access point it doesn't show that file on Access point. But, I don't know how to disable / Deactivate that file. In fact, My client asking me what is this file. Just resolve that, Please? Like that. Can i know what situation this file showing on Server?

Hi Aníbal,

When deleting a QVW it is best to remove the assigned Document CALs first, then delete the QVW.

Hi,

is d:\Empty folder is shared folder?? Is it possible that other developer created that file with limited permission?

try few solutions:

1: Restart all qlikview service.

2: Create new qvw in same location with same file.

3: check it is visible on access point.

4: then delete it.

Hi,

You can find out the location of the file by monitoring the open / write actions of processes using sysinternals procmon.exe. (Microsoft Technet tool) Link : http://live.sysinternals.com/procmon.exe

Be sure to set the filter to Path contains security.qvw.

When logging just open the QMC User documents section.

Process Monitor will show the path to the missing file.

Sorry edited the solution because of wrong answers, tested the tool in a demo environment and this worked.

Max,

1) I only created the Folder on our Server MAchine

2) I just restart the all services which names with Qlik

3) I created same file with name of same

4) Yes, It's visible

5) I deleted that file after the file was showing on server and meantime From Access point it doesn't show

Paul, Upto first image it's done. But, from filter i did manually to add the File with Caps Letter.

After that what i need to do?

filter is not case sensitive.

Click OK, procmon will start to monitor.
Go to the QlikView management console and open de Documents --> User Documents
Procmon will show the full path of the security.qvw
Open QlikView and create the file in the exact path
Remove document call's assigned
Remove the security.qvw

For First link - I checked first two, There is no luck

Resolution 3:

Clear the license information and reapply again Note:This resolution can be applied where the assigned CALs are in LOW in number.

Note: If we clear the license, Then what's happen. And i want to ask you before going that. We can apply again that license???
