Hey everyone! Today we rolled out the new QlikView website design to QlikCommunity, and we're really interested in your feedback (both positive and negative)!

Please not that there are still a couple of little design bugs that we're fixing now, but if you come across any that we haven't fixed, please feel free to use this thread to bring them to our attention.

That's what I have bookmarked to go right to the QlikView D-P-A Forum. I'm using: http://community.qlik.com/forums instead and that works.

I'm getting script errors on most pages (Access is denied--jquery-1.4.min.js), and the quick reply box doesn't always close after you've submitted. It would also be nice if you could implement a feature to delete your own posts and "unsuggest" your own answer. The overall interface looks nice though--good job!

I also like the suggestion of an un-Suggest button. Sometimes I accidentally click on suggest, when trying to reply.

Also, it looks like the reply box is bigger than the frame holding it. When you type a whole line, the edit window scrolls right and not everything can be seen, but there is no scroll bar.

EDIT: I'm experiencing some other issues. Here's a laundry list:
1. Attaching a file doesn't seem to work. I can browse and select the file, but when I click save, there is some processing before the filename box blanks out. No file is ever added.
2. The smiley box causes JS errors and never populates, although it does open.
3. When editing, the edit box is bigger than the frame it is constrained within. I can see half of the box that says Paragraph (the styles?) and when I get to the end of a line, there is some weird scrolling.
4. The blue boxes around posts are broken. The images don't fit together.
5. There is a green check in the nav bar that indicates where on the site you are. The green check on Forums is behind the m and s, so you can't really see it. EDIT 2: It looks like all the checks on the Community sub-sections are in the wrong place. They all need to be moved over about the width of the check image.
6. While looking at the threads, the dates are kind of messed up: må, feb 15 2010 3:07. I have US English as my language, but that doesn't seem to apply to the dates. Is there somewhere else where I set my date language preference?

I like that the Share box was moved out of the way. I hate when I accidentally hover over that thing and everything stops while it loads and pops up.

Cosmetic I know but I don't like the positioning of the search text box....

Think it belongs just to the right of Forum title...

Also feel that this box could be wider,,,

Search results area could be wider...

Also find the site very slow...

Here's once still not debugged:

Regardless of browser used, in favorites, the system only displays 3 of them, although the count is valid (when a new favorite is added, it sums to the count). Currently, it shows to me 2 pages of three favorites each, being impossible to find the other.

Agree with what NMiller wrote.

I also think, that search box is in wrong place

In addition can say that:

password change is not working
Post subtitles (Compose, Preview, Options) are floating in active mode.

Another one:

When quick replying a post in Google Chrome 4, after posting the reply the reply window dialog stays, and the window is not refreshed with the new post. It happened sometimes before, but today has happened all times.

3 more things:

1) It could be that I'm not looking hard enough but it seems that the Download link that always used to be on top is now gone. I tried looking for it but couldn't find it. Entering the URL manually still works, but a link would be nice since Downloads is used very often.
2) When you click on a post, it no longer says at the top what forum it was posted in. That was a nice feature and it would be great to have it again.
3) Numbered lists don't show up correctly

You can now delete your own posts, and no longer have to add "Edit notes" to posts that you need to edit. I'll try to figure out the unsuggest answer thing...

1) We're discussing adding that again, it was changed slightly with the redesign, so we took it down. We'll let you know what we're going to do soon.

2) We will be adding the breadcrumbs back soon as well, they were causing a funky issue with the site's template, and had to be temporarily removed.

When trying to upload a file, I get "Permission Denied" error. I have a screenshot but, can't upload here for same reason. I can email to you, if you provide one.

When using Qlick Post it gives the same Permission denied error and the popup (where I am typing right now) does not go away.

The new delete-post functionality isn't always working. So far, I've seen the delete option on only 1 of my posts (this one). WIll it only work with new posts and not existing ones?

When I start a new post, enter the subject, then press tab to show the related posts on the right, the new post that's still being composed covers up the results. I'm using XP SP3 and IE version 6.0. Old version, I know, but our IT folks seem to be stuck in the 20th century and I can't upgrade.

When moving the mouse down from the top of the page to click on "forum", when I mouse OVER "Explore QlikView" or anything else at the top of the screen, it drops down a huge menu that prevents me from clicking on the forum link. So I have to very carefully move the mouse AROUND the items at the top of the screen, rather than intuitively just clicking on what I want to go to. I used to have the same problem with the "Share QlikViews" mouse over menu, but this is worse, because it takes up much more of the screen.

When I created this using quick reply, then hit post, nothing happened. I waited for quite a while, hit post again, and it told me it was a duplicate post. Might have just been very slow to respond, or maybe the window isn't going away when it should, or something along those lines.
