Execute a query from external db by user request

Hello,

I have the follwing question to do:

the QVD developed by me, loads a subset of data from a db oracle. Based on user request, I need to execute a query from an external db Oracle in order to have as standard output a table and a chart in QlikView working document. No data must be downloaded previously, but only on user request. How can I do it?

You can try mucking about with a vbscript macro that may or may not work on the server. It most likely won't in the ajax client. And it will be slowwwww. Or you can try Direct Discovery. That does not exactly what you want, but perhaps the functionality it does offer is acceptable.
