QMC document availability makes no difference

In QMC documents availability, I selected named users for export to excel and selected one user.

Still all users are able to export to excel

If I uncheck the export on the security tab of the document properties, no users can export.

I don't see how to use the availability option

By default all users are allowed to export and this is a security rule that named export rule. You have to disable this rule and create your own export rule on a level of users or apps.

Let me be more specific:

First of all I am not new to Qlikview, but it was the only way to get the

message posted.

I have an app an app with section access with admin and normal users.

I deactivated the export option in the security tab of the document

properties.

Thus nobody could export to excel.

Next the customer wants that only the admin user should be able to export

to excel.

Therefore I used de QMC documents availability tab and defined the admin

user as the only named user who is allowed to export to excel.

This however makes no difference at all

Also, the admin override security has no impact on this

So I am still looking for a way to allow some users to export and others

not.
