Hello everyone

i selected "I want to specifiy the account to be used for the services later"

then how could i specify my account ?

By manually switching the user which runs the 5 different services in your services list to the local admin account you want to use for that and manually add that account to the QlikView Administrators group.

But why go over this time wasting process? Just make a local administrator account called QService and use that.

Assuming the company you work for still has a service contract with Qlik, contact the responsible person in your company and that person will have access to the download site.

Hi Dave,

For QV Server installation you need to enter mandatory details like Organisation details Username & passwords.

for this vendor already provided some credentials to ur org so pls contact the vendor immediately.

some times Vendors give 1 year service(Depends on Terms & Conditions while you are buying the license from vendor) for installation also, so may be it will helpful to you.

"Sometimes vendors"? It is the standard to sell 1 year support with the software.
