Bar Chart - Bar width

I would like to be able to determine the width of the bars in a chart based on a second dimension.

So I currently have fuel consumption per vehicle model and I would like to use the total km's to determine the width of the bar.

Is this possible? How do I do it?

To the best of my knowledge. Its not possible.

My opinion would be to use the Scatter to display the required results.

It's not possible with a bar-chart. If this second dimensionality is important for you, you need to look for alternative charts, maybe a scatter-or a block-chart. Possible might be also the use of an extension for it.

Try mekko or block chart or could you post some sample data.

Firstly it's not possible to do and secondly it'd add little, if anything, to the chart. You have both an axis and the numbers on the bars which is more than enough. You'd be very hard pushed to see the difference in width between the 2.55 / 2.43 / 2.38 values, I think.
