Avrage sum of sales of a category compared to a month of that category:

i want to creat a gauge where i get the sum of sales of a selected category

the minimum of the gauge need to be the average sum of the whole category sales (the whole data set) * 0.5

eg:

the category is jeans sum of sales

the minimum of the gauge is the average sum of sales for the jeanscategory for the year or some other length of time.

I'm guessing you want avg({<category=>} aggr(sum{<category=>}sales),category))/2 as minimum for the gauge.

If that's not correct then please post a small qlikview document that illustrates your question.
