Qlikview with essbase connectivity

Hi all,

I used the Qlikview Essbase connector to connect to a same application in essbase.

I face some issues such as

1)Essbase User defined attributes not visible in QlikView .

2) Essbase Attributes are visible but unable to load them into QlikView. Receiving error when attributes (caffeinated, Ounces, Pkg Type, Population, Intro Date) are included in the MDX query.

Has anyone faced the same issue? any solutions?

Thanks for your reply.

But I have already connected to Essbase using the connector.After connecting i have some issues in bringing in the data.

I need solutions to the points that i have listed above.

Can you please share how you are able to connect to the Essbase using the Qlikview Essbase connector.

I have seen this type of error when I have mad a mistake in the MDX.

I have had it when I have an attribute in the columns and the where clause

also are you using full names ie dimension.member as apposed to member as if there is a member with the same name in another dimension it will have an issue,
