QVS licence update error while installing

hi All,

I have installed qlikview server and publisher in two machines

in machine-1:

Qlikview directory service connector service
Qlikview distribution service
qlikview management console

are installed and publisher licence has been updated in QMC

in machine-2:

Qlikview server
qlikvie webserver(for accesspoint purpose) service installed

Here i have used only one user credentials used for both machines for all services with all administartion rights and i have created qlikview administrator group also and added this user into it.

all services are up and running fine but only for qlikview server licence showing alert and licence is not updated. so in QMC in machine-1 while applying licence for qlikview server the below errors images are displaying.

have you tried to update it manually ?

using lef1.qliktech.com/manuallef/

Hi Avinash,

I am not sure I understand the problem with your description and screenshot. If you do have a valid server license, please submit a support case. I do believe a quick WebEx session would be easier to see and fix the problem. Cheers!

Hi,

Looking at image 3, remove that if all the services are running under the same account. Does your server have access to the internet? If not you will have to past the LEF into the box to license the QVS.

I have only one local administrator account and i have used for all the services in two machines. I have copied the server with LEF and i got the below error Image.

Hi Staffan,

TIMELIMIT;VALUE;;2017-03-31 in my LEF and in 190 server internet connection is working correctly, Checked 4747 port in that server it is fine.

Checked for Qlikvie webserver it is connected successfully in 189 server to 190 server and i am able to access to accesspoint in 190 server.

Only communication is not passing for qlikview server from 189 to 190.

Hi All,

1)I have given infront of machine-2 name i have given IP address of this machine.

2) I have given IP address of machine-2 in this folder to this file "C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\ManagementService\QVPR" in machine-1 to this file QVS Cluster.xml and changed in the last line "QVSAdress="qvp://(machine-2 IP address)/"
