      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have the following QV model:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="Screen Shot 2016-03-15 at 16.55.08.png" class="jive-image image-1" src="/legacyfs/online/118077_Screen Shot 2016-03-15 at 16.55.08.png" style="height: auto;" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The FDADMFs table is linked to the PharmaMarketWorld table via the field DMFSubject.&amp;nbsp; In some cases, the DMFSubject can be spelt in a different way in the two tables.&amp;nbsp; For example it might appear as 'ARIPIPRAZOLE' in one table and 'ARIPIPRAZOLE USP' in another table.&amp;nbsp; This obviously means the two will be treated as different fields and not be associated.&amp;nbsp; Is there a way to associate these and treat them as similar through a wild match?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Chris&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;No, QlikView associations are exact matches, case-sensitive if you use strings as key fields.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As Marcus already indicated, you have to prepare your data (using translations or mapping tables) before loading it into your data model.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Peter&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
