Acquire license information - prompt for proxy

I am trying to apply a user license and at the point where it is attempting to download the lef, I'm getting a prompt asking for Proxy User ID and Proxy Password. These are inside a window headed "QlikView Internet Login for License Update".

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm not sure what this is asking for. I can successfully browse the internet, just can't download the lef.

This is a client application, using QlikView v9 SR4. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi,

It is asking you for your username and password to access the internet.

Ask your network admin for more information on Proxy User ID and Proxy Password.

Hi,

If you have a proxy, you will not be able to install the license in that way, or at least I could not six months ago. What I did was contacting to Qlickview and they sent me the license by mail. Then, I only had to copy paste License data in my server.

Hey

Just Logoff from the Network that you logged on and connect to a different Network and try to activate the License again , It will not ask for the PROXY thing
