Use of QViewer: easily inspect and query the content of a single QVD. Check field values in different formats, search for records, etc. It's a QVD Tool. The alternative for tools like this is to create a QlikView document for each and every QVD.

QViewer is available as a free download (number of rows limited to 50000) or as a paid download. It is cheap and certainly worth the money.

Hi,

Free version has the limit of 100,000 rows. If a QVD file has more rows then only first 100,000 will be loaded. IF you need more than that then you have purchase the license.

I think it is not required at all, you can load the qvd into Qlikview and you can see that data in Qlikview file itself.
