Qlikview License Issue

Hi All,

we have shared QV to a user but we doesn't assign any license but when user access on browser then automatically user cal license assign on Server .how to prevent not assign License on server in Qlik View please Suggest.

If you turn off dynamic license assignment, then you can manually assign licenses to a users. Users without an assigned document or named user license will be unable to open any documents.

Or use an AD functional group to control access to the qvw documents. Users will be unable to open documents unless they belong to the functional group.

First step is to disable or uncheck "Dynamic CAL Assignment" in both User/Named CAL & Document CAL Section.

How is Authentication done ? If you are using any mechanism & user is part of it with Dynamic assignment enabled he will getting license.
