Hi Experts,

Let us consider my application size is 1 GB and total 50 users are there for this how much ram consumption it will take?

and

in the same case total users 50 now i need to add another 20 users for this same application how we can do it? what is the producer for this?

Hi,

you can add user -

In QlikView 10 open QEMC and follow this tree : tab System -> Licences -> then click on QlikView Server -> Client Access Licences -> Assigned Cals -> then type username and click on "Assign Cal" button.

and then Say Apply at the bottom.

At first you need to consider the RAM footprint from these application - the filesize might be reduced from compressing the app (is a default setting). After that a thumb-rule says you need about 10% from RAM footprint per user - but this meant user which are active to same time and for "normal" app-using. By extensive app-using (going very deep into details with rather large tables) you will need more as 10%.
