      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am unsure where to start.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are you asking for "What is a wildcard in general" or for specific QV functions that support wildcards, like LIKE operator, WILDMATCH() function?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you understand what a wildcard is, the "why ...?" should already be answered at that point in time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

For example, I want all records that have ABC in their ID::&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ID&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;123ABC456&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;90234ABC1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;0DEF10000&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;101779ABC0&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
