Failed to Launch Error On Open URL

Hi,

I see that the Open Url action is not working from my Qlikview Desktop where as its opening from other system and also in the access point.

Please let me know whether any settings has to be enabled in my qlikview desktop.

I have been using Qlikview 11.2 SR12, also attached is the snapshot of the error encountered

Hi,

can you attach the string you are using in Open URL field (or a screenshot of the property panel)?

If you prefer you can attach the .qvw.

its due to you have check "Open in same window"

it will not work from desktop ,as google .com is not qlikview app

but if you deploy this application . then it should work from browser .

Hi,

I understand its quite simple and i see it working in my colleagues laptop and I have done this previously, but only in my system it surprisingly does not seem to work. For instance the application attached by you also throws an error when opened through my system.

Are you still using QV11 or did you upgrade to QV12?

I am using Qlikview 11 and all my collegues are also using the same version and the URL Launch works for them.

I also tried reinstalling qlikview and checked but no luck its still the same

That is not a problem with Version's , Because, I checked 10, 11 and 12 as well.

Meantime, What kind of luck you want.....

Check your proxy which you are using.

May be your proxy is not allowing to open any url.
