Getting Permission Error while loading data into Qlikview

Hi Friends,

I am not able to load data into Qlikview from a spreadsheet which is placed in a shared folder. The Spreadsheet has access to few people who can update and edit it.Also, when i copy the spreadsheet to some other location , data is getting loaded into Qlikview.

Can somebody tell how this problem can be resolved.?

Hey,

Try using UNC path in FROm statement .

example : \\ServerName\share\file

and uncheck relative path option

Hi,

perhaps the folder can not be reacheable from the user that is running QlikView.

If you create a new .qvw file and go to edit script and then try to reach the xls file (with the Table Files button): are you able to see something and add columns?

Hey I tried using the server path , but it does not work.!!
