How to edit variable?

Hi,

I had created different number of variables qvw file and now i want to edit that variable.

Is it possible to do this.

Hi,

You can go to setting -> Variable Overview to edit them there

You can include an inputbox in a sheet and include the variables that you or the users should edit.

Hi,

In Variable Overview where is the edit option for variable. I'm not able to see edit option in variable overview.

For input box i can able to give only label for that variable.

At Variable overview, you click on the variable and you get the value or expression at the bottom. You change something there and click OK

For input box, you can click on the '...' button on the right and an edit box will open

Hi,

i want to change the variable not data of the variable.

For Eg:

if variable name is vNime now i want to change it as vName.

In this case, I don't think it is possible... You would need to create a new variable (with the write name) and copy the content of the old one.

Then, if you used this variable in many places, you can use settings-> Expression overview to replace all of them at once.
