Another way would be to create a macro button to export to excel, but the excel icon on the table will not export with a custom name.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Experts ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a requirement where we are using the Export option in every Table , while we are Exporting to Excel it is taking table ID as the name of the Excel file with date and timestamp...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ex: am Exporting a table box its object ID is TB01 , after exporting to excel we are getting the table name of excel as TB01_20151211_181155...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but we want the excel table name in a different format , is this Qlikview default setting or any option or plans to customize this...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;please let me know if you people get any idea about this , please find the attached image to get the clear idea about the issue..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks in advance...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;D&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

When you export it carries the name of the Object ID which QlikView will assign a default to.
