topic Extension Object in QlikView

Hi All

I am trying to create an extension object for google maps.

Reading many posts, I was looking for the C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects

And I dont see any folder called Extensions on my machine. I have a developer's license.

Any help would be appreciated

The extension folder is not created during qlikview installation but it will be the first time you install an extension. You can also create it by yourself if you want.

I see an extension folder in QlikView-->Examples-->Extension

If I double qlick the QAR file, it says three files in 1 folder where installed. But I want to know where it is installed.

What if we dont have a QAR file?

I also need to find where the extension files are installed. The qar file is in C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Extensions

I need to alter a script.js file that this archive installs - but cant find it. When I click the qar file, I get a message : In total 6 files in 1 directories where installed.

Any help appreciated.
