      <title>newbie needs mapping help</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;new to Qlik View (on a trial). we want to create maps and heat maps based on zip codes and city names. Is this possible without using the google or map quest api's?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;tableau and power bi can do it just with zip codes / state names / city names&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is this something that is easier in view sense?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;are there any docs / tutorials for this?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks in advance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Brennen,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The built-in map in QlikView and Qlik Sense does not support that, but you can do it with the extension IdevioMaps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;IdevioMaps features on-the fly geocoding for countries, counties, places, zip codes, etc for many countries.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here's an online example that shows drill down from country-&amp;gt;state-&amp;gt;zip3-&amp;gt;zip5 where indexing of all areas are done by state or zip code: &lt;A href="http://market.qlik.com/ideviomaps-for-qlik-sense.html" title="http://market.qlik.com/ideviomaps-for-qlik-sense.html"&gt;http://market.qlik.com/ideviomaps-for-qlik-sense.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The example is for Sense but the same functionality exist in our product for QlikView.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Patric Nordström, Idevio&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://bi.idevio.com/"&gt;bi.idevio.com&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
