Hi Everyone,

I have a very different question.

Irrespective of Width of the chart can we set explicitly the bar width?

If you look at below image i want to match the width of a bar on left side with bar width on the right side chart.

Any Suggestions(Excluding Reducing the width of the chart)

you can try to increase the cluster distance in your bar chart. This should help:

I tried those, But when i select some value in dimension it automatically changes the Width and shows up a fat bar. i want to avoid that.

Hi Nithin,

that's clear. When you select a value of your dimension the bar chart collapses to one or two bars.

To avoid this you can freeze the bar chart against selection by adding a {1} to your expression and highlight the selected bars in a different color.

No size change then...

I see that, But i dont want to do in that fashion. Is there any Possible way fixing the width of a bar

Yes, Nithin, there is a kind of a workaround.

Go to the Expression tab, copy your expression and paste it. So now you have two identical expressions. Change one of your expressions like this:

add a {1} and mark 'Invisible'.
